UAM Accepting Applications For Study Abroad Program


          MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello is accepting applications for its summer study-abroad program inCosta Rica May 11-31, according to Isabel Bacon, instructor of Spanish and art.
            Students will take part in a total language immersion and cultural experience while living with Costa Rican families. Participants will spend one week in Heredia and two weeks in the cloud forest town of Monteverde at the Centro Panamericano de Idiomas, a languages school considered to be among the best schools in Latin America for the teaching of Spanish as a second language.
            Students will attend intensive Spanish classes in the morning and participate in cultural field trips in the afternoon.
