July Bradley County Chamber Meeting

The board of the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce meet for it's monthly meeting July 14th at Simple Simons Pizza located on West Church Street.  Simple Simons has a private meeting room that can be used by reserving in advance.

The board reviewed the minutes of the June meeting and went over the financial report.  Chamber President David King provided an update on the Downtown Network and the recently completed 2014 Pink Tomato Festival.

The idea of selecting a brand name for the Downtown Network was discussed.  The purpose is to help with marketing.  A committee of the downtown network organization will look into ideas.

There was some discussion of looking into charitable  bingo as a way of drawing people to downtown and as a method of making money for the Chamber to help with various projects. Under Arkansas law a license must be secured by a nonprofit entity from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.  The Chamber is a nonprofit organization.
