During the Annual meeting of the Bradley County Economic Development Commission held January 26th at the Commission offices, representatives of Entergy Corp, briefed those in attendance about a $20 million program to help make homes and businesses more energy efficient. In Commission business the members elected officers for the new year. Elected were:
John Lipton, President
Hugh Allen Quimby, Vice President
Carlton Davis, Treasurer
The board was updated on commission activities over the past year. Information was provided relating to Act 1404 and Act 14ll which provide tax incentives to industry. There was discussion of efforts to get the I-69 interstate project re-energized in Arkansas.
The BCEDC financial reports were reviewed and approved.
