NFL Referee Walt Coleman To Speak At Chamber Gala

Those who attend the Bradley County Chamber's annual meeting are in for a treat February 26 as they will get the opportunity to hear NFL Referee Walt Coleman speak.  Coleman whose family operated Coleman Dairy for many years has been an NFL official for a number of years and is very entertaining as he talks about his career as an official and the many coaches and players he has encountered.  The announcement that he would be the speaker was made to the Chamber Board during their monthly meeting February 9th at Molly's diner.  The Gala is set to begin at 6:00 P.M. and will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church.

In other business Chamber President David King reported that state personnel with the Main Street Arkansas program will be in Warren March 12th to meet with members of the Downtown Network to assist in efforts to upgrade and expand the retail business environment.  The group will have a lunch meeting which is open to the public.  Merchants are urged to attend.

Mr. King also reported on plans for the 59th Pink Tomato Festival and stated that the Festival has confirmed Craig Wayne Boyd for a concert Friday night of the festival.  Lone Star will headline Saturday night.  The Festival Committee is hard at work putting the details of the event in place.  Danny Herring is the 2015 Chairman.

The Chamber Board reviewed the organization's financial statement.  Next meeting is set for March 9th at Golden Girls.
