Children's Benefit Hosted by Jr. Auxiliary of Warren

Junior Auxiliary of Warren hosted their 16th Annual Children's Benefit Saturday, March 7, at the Warren Country Club.  A silent auction and cocktails began at 6:00 p.m. followed by a welcome from Vice Preident Ashley Savage and recognition of associate and life members.  Beverly Reep, a life member, gave the Jr. Auxiliary Prayer.  Guests were served a delicious dinner of rib eye steak, baked potato, green beans, salad, bread, and a choice of desserts.

Vice President Savage presented the President's Award to Marsha Cooper.  Mrs. Cooper then presented two awards, the Outstanding Member Award and the Outstanding Chairman Award.  Both were presented to Ashley Savage.  The Community Sponsor of the Year Award was present to Ryburns for their more than generous support in Auxiliary's providing coats to all elementary students in Warren last spring.  Phillip Hall of Ryburn Pre-owned of Warren accepted the award.


Auctioneer Tony Cathey conducted the live auction segment of the benefit and brought in nearly $6000 for the benefit.  The silent auction added to the total.

Following the auction, a dance was held with music provided by DJ Hollywood.

The Jr. Auxiliary officers are President Marsha Cooper, Vice President Ashley Savage, Secretary Stacie Stone, Treasurer Codi Bradford, and Ex-Officio Angela Wagnon.
