Warren Fire Department Gets Grant

The Warren Fire Department is the recipient of a $750.00 grant from Centerpoint Energy for use in purchasing equipment for the department.  The money was used to purchase 17 helmet lights to be used by Warren fire fighters.  The lights are mounted on the fire protective helmets.

According to Warren Fire Chief Howard Edwards, the lights are a great addition to the available tools that firemen use to protect themselves and help others in danger.  The $750.00 was supplemented by the City budget to make the full purchase.

Chief Edwards and Mayor Bryan Martin expressed their appreciation to Centerpoint for the contribution.
