A Pulled Pork Plate fundraiser will be held Friday, May 8th, between 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at 310 South Main in Warren to raise funds for Mike Carlton's heart transplant. Mike was diagnosed with TTR Amyloidosis, a rare disease where proteins called amyloids build up and over time cause organ failure. He is the father of Wendy Curry, Director of HopePlace in Warren.
The pulled pork plates with sides will be $10.00 each. Make checks payable to Mike Carlton's Transplant Fund.
