Shreveport, La. – July 31, 2015 – LifeShare Blood Centers is hoping to increase the blood supply by
rewarding one donor with tickets to the New Orleans Saints versus Dallas Cowboys football game on
Oct. 4.
All donors giving blood with LifeShare from August 1 through August 15 will be automatically entered to win the two Plaza Club tickets to the game and a $200 gift card for travel expenses. Those who receive an entry through blood donation will have an opportunity for a second entry available through LifeShare’s Facebook page.
“With blood donations lower than normal this summer, we are hoping this token of thanks to one lucky donor will bring out some football fans and others that may have forgotten the importance of donation during this time,” says Tina Hooper, spokesperson for LifeShare Blood Centers.
Donation Locations for Southeast Arkansas residents:
LifeShare Blood Centers will be conducting blood drives at the following locations in southeast
Arkansas:
August 11 at Delta Memorial Hospital from 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.
August 14 at Arkansas Superior Federal Credit Union in Warren from 9:00a.m. to
2:00p.m.
August 14 at Walmart in El Dorado from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.
August 15 at Fred’s in Crossett from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
LifeShare Blood Centers has a temporary site at Pecanland Mall in the former Abercrombie &
Fitch store located near the food court. LifeShare will collect donors from August 1 thru August
9 at the mall site. Mall site hours are noon to 6:00p.m.
Donors who give blood on LifeShare’s donor coaches during mobile blood drives conducted in
the region between August 1 thru 15 will also be automatically registered to win. Call the
Monroe center at 318.322.4445 to find a blood drive near you.
