Health Coalition To Assist Library With Garden

The Bradley County Health Coalition voted during its regular monthly meeting to contribute $500.00 to help the Bradley Library create a community garden on the Library grounds.  This program will be managed by the library staff and young children will be recruited to take part in the preparation and cultivation of the garden.  The garden will consist of two raised beds with protection against wild animals.

In other business the coalition members voted to have a booth at the upcoming county fair.  Good and improved health will be the focus of the booth.

The Bradley County Health Coalition meets monthly to discuss and promote health issues for the community.
