Warren Police worked a two car accident at the intersection of Smith Road and State Highway 8 December, 17th. The accident occurred around 8:28 P.M. One vehicle was driven by Tiffany Clancy of Ozment Bluff and the other by Amanda Butcher of Bearden, Arkansas. Both cars were towed from the scene. Ms. Butcher and three children were transported to Bradley County Medical Center by ambulance. There has been no report made public on their condition.
The investigation determined that the vehicle driven by Ms. Clancy was at fault. No citation has been issued at this time.

The news of this accident comes as NO surprise. There are a lot of near misses at that intersection because people, even folks from the area, have no respect for a stop sig. They assume it's a 4 way. How many people actually died before they did something at the S.Main- bypass. Someone with some authority in Warren city administration, PLEASE look into this before the statistics begin to add up at this intersection.
