Warren High Beta Club Heads to State Convention

The Warren High School Beta Club departed early Friday morning bound for the State Beta Club Convention being held in the Hot Springs Convention Center.

While in attendance, members of the club will compete in academic competitions.

The club has put in nomination junior Alexis Dunaway for the position of Arkansas State Beta Club President.  Much of the time of the local group will be spent campaigning for Alexis.  They will also present a skit in support of her candidacy.  Alexis will deliver a speech to the entire convention seeking votes from Beta members from other schools.

The Warren Chapter's sponsors are Literacy Instructor, Mrs. Kala Thornton and Science Instructor, Mrs. Brandi Green.
