Warren Fire Department Responds to Woods Fire

The Warren Fire Department answered two calls the past week.  One call was on October 31, 2016 to a wreck at the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and State Highway 8, ( Johnesville Road ).  The city rescue truck was summoned.  No one ended up seriously injured.

On November 6th around 2:48 P.M., the department responded to a woods fire .near 1414 Belaire Street in West Warren.  There was no damage to any structure.  Eleven firemen answered the alarm and the cause of the fire is not known.

According Warren fire personnel, they continue to be called out to locations where people are illegally burning.  There remains a burn ban in Bradley County and everyone is urged to please comply and do not burn at this time.  Anyone caught burning is subject to being fined.  The department has been called out to as many as four fires in a day in recent weeks.  They are averaging two calls per day.
