Local Junior Auxiliary Members Attend 72nd Annual Education Conference

Junior Auxiliary members, Ashley Savage, Wendy Grice, and Angela Wagnon attended the annual meeting of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries this month in Memphis, TN.

Giving Love, Growing Legacies was the message to members of Junior Auxiliary of Warren at the 72nd Annual Education Conference held June 7 & 8 in Memphis, TN.  Over six hundred ladies were in attendance at this year’s event. NAJA hosts the annual conference at various locations in the southeast every year to offer training and assistance to the organization’s 101 chapters.

This year’s conference was packed with entertainment, education, and networking with other chapters from across the Mid-South. The ladies enjoyed speakers such as Mike Robbins, author of Focus on the Good Stuff: The Power of Appreciation; Craig Scott with Rachel’s Challenge, a survivor of the Columbine School shooting whose sister was not as fortunate; and Stacey DeWitt, speaking on Connect with Kids - Technical Difficulties: helping kids and families navigate today’s online world.
Junior Auxiliary chapters all over the Mid-South are working more than ever before to increase awareness of children in need and the benefits of caring today to create character tomorrow.
