The Warren School Board meet in a special meeting Tuesday May 20th in the Administration Building. The board conducted an executive session to discuss personnel matters. Upon entering open session Superintendent Marilyn Johnson made the following recommendations: accept the resignation of Shwana Thaxton as a teacher and asst. softball coach and hire Tyler Clark as a teacher and asst. football coach. Both were approved by the board.
The board then voted to approve the contracts for facility improvements. Bids had previously been taken. This involves major renovations to the High School building and one other building. The model policy for teacher evaluation was revised by a board vote.
Then the board voted 7-0 to inactivate the policy regarding the annual increase of the superintendents salary.
