Warren Police Chief Speaks To Lions Club


Warren Police Chief Randy Peek was guest speaker during the Lions Club meeting July 23rd.  He updated the members about the various services  and programs provided by the Police Department and the role of law enforcement.  The Chief explained the requirements of securing a career as a policeman.  He mentioned the renovations made during the past few years to the City Emergency Services Center which houses the police and fire departments.  Chief Peek indicated the building is more functional and secure.

He told the club that while Warren has it crime the city has a relatively low crime rate.  According to the Chief a great majority of residents of the city obey the law and are quality people.  The department is willing to work with all residents and businesses to better protect life and property.  The Chief stated the department was available to provide advice on how better to protect ones home and place of business.
