Warren Fire Department Responds To Cloverdale Fire

Two engines of the Warren Fire Department responded to a house fire at #13 Pinewood Dr. around 11:00P.M. August 9th.  The home, occupied by Jesus Torrez, was severely damaged inside.  Firemen estimate it suffered 50 to 75 percent damage.  No one was injured.

The cause is not determined but candles are suspected.  Twenty Warren Fire fighters were on hand to put out the fire.

Earlier in the day the Department was called to the helicopter pad just west of the hospital to wash up some fuel that leaked.  There were no injuries or serious problems from the incident.

Chief Howard Edwards reported that with school starting, the Fire Department will be conducting safety inspections.
