Hermitage School Board Meets


The Hermitage School Board meet December 15th to conduct regular monthly business. According to Dr. Tracy Tucker, Superintendent, the board honored students for cross country success and approved a testing schedule for March, 2015.  The board was notified of receipt of a grant for $63,000.00 to help with curriculum development.

School Board liability insurance was approved at a cost of $4,804.00.  The policy was awarded to BancorpSouth Insurance Services.

In other business the board reviewed the lastest audit conducted by the State of Arkansas.  One finding was addressed that had been corrected.

In personnel matters the board accepted the resignation of Carolyn Wagnon and hired Maria Loera as a cook.

The school board reviewed a lease for use of school facilities by the CAPCA program that works with migrant students.
