Hermitage City Council Meets


The Hermitage City Council meet in regular session March 16th.  Reports were provided by the water and sewer departments, the street department, the police department and the fire department.  There were zero fire calls in February and the police issued 11 citations.  Mayor Harrod presented the financial report and it was approved.

The Mayor reported on several projects:
1. Plans call for four trees to be cut down in front of city offices to improve drainage.
2. Fire hydrants were to be flushed March 23-24.
3. A new fire hose was to be purchased.
4.The water/sewer audit had no significant findings.
5. the 2013 city audit had no significant findings.
6.Roof repairs for the city office will be considered at the next council meeting and other
   quotes will be sought.
7. The city will be seeking community development funds.

There were no public comments and council members brought up no further business.
