Warren Police Arrest Suspect on Drug Charge

Warren Police arrested Brandon Banks on April, 9th around 12:13 A.M. on drug and firearms charges.  He was stopped on U.S. Highway 278 West after allegedly running a stop sign and reckless driving.  During the stop the officer smelled and noticed what appeared to be drugs.  There was also a firearm in the vehicle.

Mr. Banks is a parolee.  Several possible drugs were found in the car and on the person of Mr. Banks.

Mr. Banks is in jail and bond is set at $5000.00.  He parole is also on hold pending the outcome of his case.  No one was injured during the stop and arrest.  A second Warren Police officer arrived to assist with the arrest and inventory of the vehicle and a Bradley County Sheriiff's Deputy also arrived to help.
