Hermitage Elementary recently held its annual Career Day. Several guest speakers made presentations and involved the students, including community members from the Arkansas and Fish Commission, local police officers, SEACBEC, Warren Bank, Watson Saw Mill, the mayor, and many other parent and student volunteers. Students were allowed to dress as a worker in their career choice for this occasion. The event was organized to promote career awareness and was facilitated by Sandy Hollingsworth, Counselor, and Gwen Huitt, Parent Facilitator.
