Bradley County Sheriff Rick Anders has officially appealed the request for a private club license recently approved by the Director of the state Alcohol Beverage Control Board. As a result of this action the full ABC Board will conduct a hearing to consider the appeal. The date of the hearing is not yet known.
The Sheriff has indicated his objection is due to the county's lack of sufficient manpower and resources to provide law enforcement to the facility and surrounding area.
