Warren Forward Downtown Network met January 6 at noon.
They announced that they are offering $1000 in grant money for signage. The money can be used for one sign or may be broken up to be given to multiple applicants. The deadline for the grant applications will be announced at the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce Gala March 3. Applications are available at the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce.
It was reported that the group has applied for a $200,000 Delta Regional Authority Grant to obtain a roof for the W&OV Depot. A goal has been set to have the depot in repair enough to have it ready for the Santa Train next year.
The group is looking into purchasing the Bryant's Building from the Chamber of Commerce and also looking into a Browfield Grant.
